Introduction

The Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI, 2002) advocates for free and unrestricted access to research literature. EASI: Engineering and Applied Sciences in Industry adheres to the principles of open access, contributing to the free dissemination of scientific and academic information.

Our commitment

All our articles are freely available and distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license, which attributes the original author and restricts commercial use and modifications of published articles.

Target audience

By following the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, we are committed to making research accessible to researchers, educators, and graduate students in areas related to interoperability and Industry 4.0. Readers interested in applications that study the relationship between industry and society are also welcome.

Our contribution

EASI: Engineering and Applied Sciences in Industry contributes to the dissemination of scientific and academic material without economic barriers and is committed to increasing visibility to publicize new trends for the development of technological solutions that optimize interoperability in industry and the relationship between industry and society, from an inter and multidisciplinary perspective. The techniques and methods involved in these multidisciplinary works include cost savings, improved safety, minimization of operating expenses, and optimization of processes in general, materials, and applications, among others.

EASI in OAI-PMH

EASI provides an OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interface that allows access to metadata of published material.

Steps to register

  1. Visit the registration page: https://revistas.ug.edu.ec/index.php/index/login
  2. Follow the instructions and fill in the required information.
  3. Pay close attention to your username and password.
  4. Select the journal: EASI: Engineering and Applied Sciences in Industry.
  5. Choose your role as a reader or reviewer.
  6. Check your email for a confirmation link and activate your account.
  7. Complete the remaining fields:
    • Identify the topics of interest within the journal.
    • If you are a potential author, please provide your ORCID iD.
    • If you receive an article for review, log into your account and click on the 'submissions' link.
