Audience
The outcomes in the EASI journal are available for most researchers, educators, and postgraduate students in areas related to interoperability and industry 4.0. Readers interested in applications drawing the relationship between industry and society are also welcome to participate.
Scope
The EASI publications highlight applications and new trends about interoperability for industry and the relationship between industry and society. Applications include cost savings, safety improvement, minimization of operating expenses and optimization of processes in general, materials and applications, and also brings issues addressing the impact of new paradigms on the well-being of employees. The following is a list of relevant topics in industrial applications of interest:

Manuscripts you can submit
- Report/letter: 3000-word communications are welcome to discuss current issues that attempt to explain the relationship between industry, technology, and society in specific contexts. Briefly, preliminary data or dissertations about an investigation that stimulates the interest of the scientific community to participate and strengthens the line of investigation are presented.
- Articles: 6000-word manuscripts addressing questions about a theoretical or applied disciplinary aspect, generally pursuing scientific research, or presenting a new solution method for particular problems are welcome in this section.
- Review: This option compiles critical, systematic, and exhaustive analyses to explore the current state of the art related to the phenomenal growth in technology leading industry development, and how this relation shapes the new society. An 8000-word manuscript is suggested.
- Special Issues: this journal invites colleagues and experts in topics related to industry interoperability to propose the co-edition of special issues on emerging themes that promote the interest of the scientific and professional communities.

Analytical: This approach focuses on breaking down a whole into its elements and meticulously examining how they are related to each other and the whole as a unit.

Applied: This approach involves the demonstration or practical application of a particular method or technique. It showcases the results derived from scientific research or technical experiments, including the presentation of statistical data.

Descriptive: This approach provides a comprehensive overview of the properties and attributes of a specific phenomenon, object, process, or subject.

Experimental: This approach involves the empirical verification or testing of a theory or hypothesis using the experimental method or statistical techniques. It presents the results derived from scientific or technical observations.
