Integral quality of University of Guayaquil: achievable or utopia?

The article investigares the influence of automation of processes of curriculum management in the overall quality of universities. The process of requiring -opera ti ve information, statistics, academic or other - when making decisions or for the service of students, actually consists of many bureaucratic constraints that prevent a harmonious and relíable information management. The main objective is to improve the overall quality of the University of Guayaquil with the implementation of knowledge management strategies, in accordance with international standards ISO 9001, with which high levels of satisfaction are achíeved in the university community.
