Abstract

The objective of the research was to increase motor development indicators in children aged 8-10 years of age, from the design of a group of sport activities. Research diagnosed lastest and preferences of the children's study. It surveyed a sample of 70 children "City of Riobamba" Rural school, Santa Lucia, parish shrimp of the Esmeraldas Canton, Republic of Ecuador. Subsequently, was assessed qualitatively the degree of satisfaction of the sample studied, after six months of applying the intended proposal. He met 50 residents of the parish, the school principal, and the promoter sports as a control sample appraisal of the activities and the participation of children in these for the characterization of the studied environment. Wilcoxon signed ranks test, was used to determine the existence of significant differences in the attendances registered before implementing the proposals, and last six months applied. Work determined the existence of positive differences that allow complete with the beginning of systematization, qualitatively developing the motor development of children.
