Impact of recreational program on improving behavior of citizens in a situation of family abandonment

Abstract

This research aims to qualitatively measure the impact of a program designed aimed at improving the behavior of adolescents in situations offamily abandonment recreational activities. To carry out the research have been selected 12 adolescents with family problems outlined above, between 12 to 14 years old (eight males and four females), residents in the neighborhood Carrizal special industrial district Port of Barranquilla, in the Republic of Colombia. Similarly, an interview is conducted at several community leaders in addition to the survey of adolescents studied and tested to define sorne criteria specialists, all between January and July 2015. The research concludes with the design of a plan or program of activities suited to the characteristics of the sample, taking into account their needs in line with the possibilities. When implemented in practice the plan of recreational activities, it has been shown from Sign Rank Test and the Wilcoxon Sign Test the existence of social improvements in four indicatorsbefore and after the proposal implemented.
