Sowing zones and soybean crop in the province of rivers for seed production

Abstract

The study aimed to determine, within the area ofthe province soyera Rivers andadjacent area and the best planting time for seed production, which was necessaryto monitor: the evolution ofthe diseases caused by downy mildew (Peronospora manshurica) and rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi) in plantings (every 15 days) from 15 May to 30 July in Quevedo and Yinces. lt was determined that in the province of Los Rios and northem areas of the province of Guayas, where soybeans are planted there by weather TEMPERATURE (ºC) and relative humidity (%), three different zones: North Zone (Quevedo - Lounge lla) downtown area (Vinces -Puebloviejo) and South (Babahoyo - Miracle). Of these three areas, the plant has better conditions for damage from mildew and rust no negative impact on seed production and as best time, the time period ranging from May-August to establish plantations.
