Instructions for Authors

The Revista Universidad de Guayaquil is published and sponsored by the Universidad de Guayaquil, it is open access and free of charge. The journal is published every six months. It is directed to professionals, academics and researchers in the specialized areas of Social Sciences.

All manuscripts go through a double-blind peer review process and are inspected by the automatic plagiarism detection and prevention system, TURNITIN. The publisher considers as original and unpublished, those articles with a percentage of similarity of no more than 10% with respect to other sources and up to 3% of similarity with a single source, otherwise, they will be rejected for publication and will be removed from the OJS database of the journal.

The manuscript will be received exclusively through this platform OJS (Open Journal Systems) in the web portal of the Journal Universidad de Guayaquil.
