Agile Technology for Tax Collection in the Decentralized Autonomous Governments of Manabí Ecuador

Context: This work is developed in the Decentralized Autonomous Governments of Manabí Ecuador in order to promote the process of tax collection through the Agile methodology. The Agile methodology is useful to promote tax collection, with this technology it is possible to give prominence to people, work and relationships established between employees in organizational processes for continuous improvement. Method: The descriptive and exploratory method is used, mediated by the use of Information and Communication Technologies for the collection of taxes in the Decentralized Autonomous Governments of Manabí Ecuador. The work addresses the changes required for tax collection using Agile technologies, useful to offer the opportunity for change and continuous improvement, the necessary bases for said transformation are observed, as well as the characteristics of its implementation. Results: Various actions are described that the Decentralized Autonomous Governments must adopt towards the Agile principles, to promote the process of tax collection. Conclusions: Actions are obtained so that Decentralized Autonomous Governments move their organizational processes, increasingly towards an approach, based on the use of Technology to contribute to continuous improvement and social sustainability.
