Abstract

Context: The present work is developed for the Human Resources area of the State University of the South of Manabí, with the aim of supporting the staff of the area on the impact of new technological trends in the organization and human resources, useful for the administration and management of human resources, as good practices that companies must adopt for the management of people within organizations. Method: The descriptive and exploratory method is used, focused on the level of the Human Resources unit of the State University of the South of Manabí, on the knowledge and use of the new technological trends that are used to obtain competitiveness in the organization and in human resources. Results: The impact of the main and new trends in the use of technologies in the administration and management of human resources is identified as the best practices that organizations must adopt for the management of people within organizations. Conclusions: It is evident that, to conceive competitiveness, it is necessary to enhance human resources, for which a holistic vision based on growth and improvement must be taken into account, where the use of new technological trends must be taken into account, for a continuous improvement that allows to carry out strategic actions that increase the competitiveness of the organization; since the resource acts as a filter for other productive factors.
