Abstract

Scientific writing is the act of documenting the process undertaken by researchers upon completing an investigation. The purpose of this act is to publish the results of their research studies and make them accessible to those who need to read them. To capture and maintain the reader's attention, articles must possess certain characteristics that facilitate and make the reading comprehensible. These qualities include clarity, conciseness, coherence, precision, and neutrality. Additionally, the appropriate use of written language is crucial for generating a positive image among editors, reviewers, and readers. Articles can be rejected due to writing oversights; errors that could have been avoided. This study offers a critical review of the most common errors in scientific writing, aiming to serve as a guide for novice researchers. It is hoped that this document will facilitate the writing process and increase the chances of acceptance and dissemination of manuscripts.
