Los avances en la tecnología de la información han transformado la forma en que se comunican la investigación y el desarrollo científicos. Uno de los principios que sustentan e informan la producción científica original y novedosa es el uso de estudios previos para fundamentar, justificar e interpretar nuevas investigaciones. El libre acceso a la información garantiza nuevas oportunidades para consultar información y asegura la difusión de nuevos resultados científicos. La política de acceso abierto de la Revista Científica Especialidades Odontológicas UG tiene como objetivo aprovechar el potencial de producción de conocimiento y difusión de los avances en el campo de la odontología.
