Abstract

The tuberculosis is an infectious-Contagious disease bacterial chronic and recurrent for the Mycobacterium Tuberculosis to caused, considered like a world pandemic their own of countries underdeveloped by the malnutrition linked and the main injury lung and other organs, to be a severe disease the Tuberculous meningoencephalitis has been described this present reported, whose microbiological diagnose in LCR is difficult, to be using necessary the techniques more sophisticated, is like the POLIMERASE CHAIN REACTION or PCR, is this a high sensitivity and susceptibility and very novel of our environment..

We present a case of Tuberculous Meningoencephalitis in a female patient age of 14, and we review the clinical, etiopathogenic and diagnostic aspects. In to the clinical context is with Meningoencephalitis Infectious compatible, that in to the differential few to raise patology, most we have no pathological images of definite process; we have been to use for the definition of its diagnostic The POLIMERASE CHAIN REACTION PCR in LCR that of we want its utility emphasize.
