Abstract

The purpose of this research work was to know the influence of emotional regulation on the development of frustration tolerance in children aged 4 to 5 years in a school in the city of Naranjal. It was developed through bibliographic and field research, whose epistemological objective was descriptive, explanatory and propositional. In addition, the survey and interview were applied as investigative techniques. The results obtained showed that there is an average percentage of children who have not developed these coping skills. This is because they are provided with technological devices as emotional pacifiers, which can trigger adults who are prone to abandoning activities or have the characteristics of people with low tolerance for frustration. Therefore, it is important that frustration tolerance be an important aspect in Early Education, both in schools and at home. This topic is part of the research line Integrative and inclusive educational strategies, sub-line Skills for life. In addition, it is found in the thematic axis of Learning Methodologies, specifically in Education, personal development and learning processes.
