Vol. 6 No. 11 (2025): Educación contemporánea: enfoques críticos, metodológicos y tecnológicos
The present issue of Minerva Journal, entitled Contemporary Education: Critical, Methodological, and Technological Approaches, brings together research studies and educational proposals that examine current educational practices from a plural, reflective, and context-based perspective. The articles address contemporary educational challenges by exploring both the integration of emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence, learning analytics, and digital platforms—and the critical review of pedagogical methodologies, research approaches, and training practices across different educational levels.
This volume includes theoretical studies, systematic reviews, and applied experiences that engage with key issues such as teacher education, the digital divide, educational equity, meaningful learning, cognitive development in childhood, and methodological innovation in school and higher education contexts. It also presents epistemological reflections that question the traditional quantitative–qualitative dichotomy, as well as critical analyses of the impact of technology on the human dimension of education.
Overall, the contributions offer a diverse and up-to-date overview of contemporary education, highlighting the importance of articulating pedagogical thinking, methodological rigor, and the responsible use of technology to respond to current educational demands.
