INQUIDE – Chemical Engineering and Development is dedicated to the dissemination of original, relevant, and academically rigorous scientific research that generates new theoretical or applied knowledge in various fields of engineering and related sciences.
We prioritize interdisciplinary research aligned with the following areas:
• Chemical and process engineering: Petrochemicals, energy optimization, sustainable processes.
• Materials and biotechnology: Biomaterials, nanotechnologies, environmental biotechnology.
• Industrial technologies and management: Industry 4.0, digitalization, ISO standards.
• Food engineering and environmental sciences: Sustainable packaging, waste treatment, food safety.
Our editorial approach favors research that contributes to sustainable development, technological innovation, and the strengthening of professional practices with social, economic, and environmental impact.
The journal aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:

Periodicity
The journal is published semi-annually, with the first issue released on January 1 and the second issue on July 1 of each year. There are no admission, processing or publication fees for articles.
