INQUIDE - Chemical Engineering and Development is an international scientific, bilingual, multidisciplinary and open access journal, it publishes peer-reviewed scientific articles on a biannual basis, it is edited by the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the University of Guayaquil of Ecuador.

Objective.

INQUIDE – Chemical Engineering and Development aims to disseminate original, relevant, and academically rigorous research that advances theoretical or practical knowledge in science and engineering. The journal prioritizes studies that contribute to methodological, technological, or professional innovation and align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

All submissions must be grounded in the current state of knowledge and supported by critical, systematic analysis and balanced evaluation, ensuring the quality, relevance, and applicability of the findings.

MIssion.
The mission of INQUIDE – Chemical Engineering and Development is to promote the dissemination of original, rigorous, and multidisciplinary scientific research in the fields of engineering, applied science, and sustainable development. We aim to contribute to the advancement of technical and scientific knowledge, strengthening the connection between academia, industry, and society, with a special focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

INQUIDE – Chemical Engineering and Development is dedicated to the dissemination of original, relevant, and academically rigorous scientific research that generates new theoretical or applied knowledge in various fields of engineering and related sciences.

We prioritize interdisciplinary research aligned with the following areas:
• Chemical and process engineering: Petrochemicals, energy optimization, sustainable processes.
• Materials and biotechnology: Biomaterials, nanotechnologies, environmental biotechnology.
• Industrial technologies and management: Industry 4.0, digitalization, ISO standards.
• Food engineering and environmental sciences: Sustainable packaging, waste treatment, food safety.
