Abstract
We present our experience in the management of a patient with hepatic trauma in a non-operative way in adults in the Emergency Unit of the Abel Gilbert Ponton Hospital.
The use of TAC in the evaluation of abdominal trauma has allowed the development of non-operative treatment in a selected group of patients with blunt liver trauma. The Tomographic Diagnosis, hematocrit controls, platelets and mainly vital signs controls (blood pressure), and the Glasgow scale were taken into account.
