Policies
• Focus and Scope: The "RIAF" International Journal of Physical Activity is an open-access, peer-reviewed, bilingual, specialized scientific journal that publishes original and unpublished research results. Its thematic scope encompasses the Sciences of Physical Activity in General, Physical Education in Schools and at different ages, Sports Training as an Integrative Phenomenon of Processes, Sport for All, Recreation, Biomedical Foundations of Physical Activity and Sport, Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Physical Activity, Physical Activity Management, Sciences Applied to Physical Activity, Fitness, and Physical Activity for Health. Its target audience includes teachers at all educational levels, undergraduate and graduate students, athletes, coaches, sports physicians, sports psychologists, managers, physical instructors, physiatrists, sports nutritionists, and health personnel involved in physical activity and sport.
• Open Access Policy: "RIAF" International Journal of Physical Activity is a journal that offers free and open access to all its content. It is based on the principle that this form of access contributes to the socialization of scientific knowledge, fostering the global exchange of knowledge. Authors of scientific articles can submit their work completely free of charge, and it will be subject to the peer review, editing, and publication process under this same principle.
Copyright Notice
In accordance with the open access policy, the journal "RIAF" adheres to the principle that published content may only be used in the creation of other texts by third parties when explicit acknowledgment is made of the original authors, there is no profit motive, and the new text is published under the same license.
Submissions require the transfer of copyright through a copyright transfer agreement under the following terms:
1. a) The author's commitment not to submit the work for consideration by other publications.
2. b) Transfer of rights to the journal.
3. c) Non-exclusive transfer of rights. This transfer of rights implies the author's authorization for its placement on other websites or databases for use; the translation of the text, in whole or in part, into other languages for the same dissemination purposes; the creation of adaptations or summaries of the content of the original article; or the inclusion of versions in the original language or translated, even under a different title, in repositories and other databases.
By means of the declaration of originality, the authors formally declare the original and unpublished nature of their text and its exclusive submission to this journal; they assume full responsibility for the ideas and criteria expressed; they accept that the submission will be subject to peer review and revisions; and they express their agreement with the deadlines established in the "peer review" section.
The authors retain the copyright to their work and assign it to RIAF. The International Journal of Physical Activity reserves the right of first publication of this work, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which allows third parties to share the work provided they acknowledge the author and its initial publication in this journal.
