ERROR-BASED LEARNING. A PROPOSAL AS A NEW DIDACTIC STRATEGY IN MEDICAL EDUCATION

Abstract

Introducción: El aprendizaje basado en errores es una estrategia educativa enfocada en el uso de errores como fuente de aprendizaje. Mediante el análisis y corrección de errores que conducen al razonamiento y a la memoria. El propósito de este estudio consiste en comparar los descubrimientos de investigaciones anteriores acerca del aprendizaje basado en errores en la educación médica. El método es: Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de los artículos publicados entre 2013 y 2023. Utilicé diversos buscadores como Google Academic, Scopus, Embase, Clínica Key y Web of Science como fuentes de datos. La búsqueda se basó en diferentes palabras claves y estrategias de aprendizaje. Resultados: se identificaron cuatro temas principales a través del análisis de los artículos seleccionados: generalidades de la educación basada en errores y diversas disciplinas de enseñanza médica. Conclusiones: Se determinó que incluir errores en la formación médica motivan a los estudiantes, los mismos necesitan ser estimulados o inducidos; representando un impacto positivo al dar la oportunidad de encontrar y corregir errores motivando al estudiante a investigar.
