Context: Strategic infrastructure for the sustainable development of Ecuador. Objective: The Multipurpose Miracle Project (PMA) is a comprehensive technical proposal aimed at transforming the Southeastern region of Guayas Province, through the efficient management of water from the sub-basins of the Chimbo and Limón rivers, with the generation of clean energy and climate resilience. It has been conceived as a high-impact structure, the PMA articulates national and international objectives, including the SDGs, the National Development Plan, and the 2030 Agenda. Method: The document highlights the key components of the project: hydraulic regulation, flood control, water supply for irrigation and human consumption, hydroelectric generation, eco-tourism and adventure tourism, industrial development, as well as achieving institutional strengthening. Results: Emphasis is placed on alignment with international standards, environmental sustainability, and the potential for regional economic dynamism. Conclusions: In addition, technical visualizations, strategic briefs, and institutional arguments are presented that support the viability of the PMM as a structural solution to the challenges of climate change, water security, territorial equity, and the sustained and sustainable development of the region and the country.
