Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The main submission file is in Word format, and if there are complementary files they are in Epub and Html format.
  • The document will have a maximum of 11 pages in total, using the pre-established formats in this template (including tables, figures). A space should be left between paragraphs.
  • The document should have a maximum of 10 figures; therefore, authors should select the figures they consider most relevant and that contribute to a better understanding of the paper.
  • All authors must include their ORCID in their affiliation.

Author Guidelines

Title of the article (No more than 20 words)

Name and surname of the main author; work area of origin, email, WhatsApp, City, Country.

List of names and surnames of the other authors, ordered by percentage of participation in the preparation of the article and their work affiliation. (The number of other authors should not exceed five).

Structure of the article: Abstract of no more than 250 words, accompanied by keywords (maximum 5) in English and Spanish, introduction, development, analysis and discussion of results, conclusions and bibliography (referenced according to IEEE style).

The document should have a maximum of 10 figures presented in jpg or png format; therefore, authors should select the figures they consider most relevant and that contribute to a better understanding of the paper.

The document will have a maximum of 11 pages, using the pre-established formats in this template (including tables, figures). A space should be left between paragraphs.

Submissions should be presented in Word format, double column, top margin 3.5 cm, bottom margin 3.5 cm, left - right margin 1.5 cm, Times New Roman font, font size Times New Roman, font size Times New Roman, font size Times New Roman, font size Times New Roman, font size Times New Roman. Times New Roman font, size 10, justified, 0 line spacing, single spacing.

All authors must include their ORCID in their affiliation.

The format of this document must be respected.

Copyright Notice

The authors must send the following document signing the declaration of authorship and the session of rights in order to be considered for publication in the Journal Ingeniería Química y Desarrollo.

The authors declare:

  • That it is an original work.
  • That they are the exclusive holders of the author's economic and moral rights.
  • They declare that their rights over the manuscript are free of embargoes, encumbrances, limitations or conditions (resolutory or otherwise), as well as of any circumstance affecting their free disposition.
  • That the manuscript has not been previously published elsewhere.
  • That it has not been submitted simultaneously to another publication.
  • That all authors have contributed intellectually to its preparation.
  • That all authors have read and approved the final version of the submitted manuscript.
  • That, if the article is published, they transfer all copyrights to the editor, without whose express permission none of the material published therein may be reproduced.
  • The subject of the article falls within one of the areas of (select from the following).
