Interoperability Policy

EASI, as part of the Scientific Journals Portal of the University of Guayaquil, uses the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interoperability protocol, which enables the automated harvesting and exchange of metadata from its content by digital repositories, harvesters, and other academic information systems.

Protocol: OAI-PMH Version 2.0

Metadata formats: Dublin Core (oai_dc), MARC (oai_marc), MARC21 XML (marcxml), and RFC1807 (rfc1807).
