About the Journal

The International Journal of Studies in Administrative Sciences STRATEGOS is a print and electronic scientific and academic publication within the field of social sciences, published and funded by the University of Guayaquil, with a semi-annual circulation (2 issues per year).

OBJECTIVE

To promote and disseminate original scientific works that contribute to expanding, debating, and building new knowledge with an impact on the national and international community.

AUDIENCE

The International Journal of Studies in Administrative Sciences STRATEGOS is aimed at academics, professors, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, professionals in the administrative field, and the entire scientific community whose interest lies in the areas covered by our journal.

This journal publishes original articles of theoretical-applied research (not case studies, nor descriptive, exploratory, and/or correlational studies) in Spanish and English in the following areas:

Publication Frequency

STRATEGOS is an open-access academic journal published biannually. Two issues are published per year, in June and December, maintaining a regular frequency that ensures editorial continuity and the ongoing updating of scientific knowledge in the field of administrative sciences.

Digital Preservation Policy

The journal STRATEGOS guarantees the long-term digital preservation of its content through the following strategies:

  • Storage on institutional servers at the University of Guayaquil with automatic backups and version control.
  • Participation in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which allows archiving in multiple internationally distributed repositories.
  • Use of the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) protocol as a decentralized backup system to ensure continuous access to the content.
  • All articles are stored in open formats (PDF/A) and with metadata compatible with international standards (Dublin Core).

These actions ensure that published articles will be available for reading, downloading, and preservation even if the journal ceases publication in the future.
