The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between stroke rate, measured in cycles per second, and swimming speed, measured in meters per second in freestyle swimming in the male gender. In addition to the variables mentioned above, there are others that are also involved in the physical phenomenon and that will be controlled as far as possible during the research process, such as stroke length, arm length, height, sex, somatotype of each swimmer, additionally there are the forces that act on the swimmer such as weight, buoyancy force, resistive force of water, air and water waves, and the force applied to the water. In our country, there are many coaches who ignore the ideal relationship between swimming speed and stroke rate in a swimmer. For this research, the Tracker video analyzer was used and it was demonstrated with the correlation coefficient that there is a strong direct proportion relationship between stroke rate and swimmer's swimming speed. The results obtained from the relationship between the variables mentioned show that the stroke length is (1,744±1,408) m/cycles and that its significant uncertainty is due to the technique used in the methodology, however, it considers a wide range that includes the theoretical value.
