Children's stories as a tool to develop oral language in initial education

Abstract

Globalization and new technologies are part of the general growth of society, however, the excessive use of these technological tools, bring negative consequences, distorting exponentially, affective aspects (communication, understanding, values, respect) , within the family group it is important to highlight that the most outstanding ethical and moral values are those learned in   the home, therefore, the excessive and irresponsible use of technological means, allow to divert the attention of children of young age. The research focuses on boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 5, who are beginning their education, showing low performance in cognitive development, motivated by the lack of communication attention, which they bring to classrooms, bringing as consequences, deficiencies in the oral language, disinterest, poor school performance and communication problems.   The theoretical framework related to the subject will be linked to the hermeneutics and pragmatism of the researcher, with the intention of issuing judgments and conclusions that resolve and add contributions to society. The research is framed under a qualitative, descriptive-explanatory approach, building theories that hold that children's stories serve as a strategic tool to improve oral language in early childhood education.
