Abstract

The bacterium Helicobacter pylori is the most importan! etiological agent causing sorne gastric pathologies, the main objective was to identify tilles of H. Pylori by Elisa as prevention of these diseases. The age of onset, lifestyle (food and housing), clinical and laboratory diagnosis is determined by the school stage presentation, cultural habits, recurren! abdominal pain and early detection of Helicobacter pylori antigens in stool, are sorne ofthe parameters considered in an investigation of 355 children, including asymptomatic patients to control. Were evaluated clinically, is collected and processed in laboratory stool samples to learn antigen titration H. Pylori by Elisa, and provide initial treatment-prevention education talks. The infection rate for antigens H. Pylori in faeces reached 31 % of 111 positive cases, common in chi ldren of 6-8 years, with an average of nine years. Recurrent abdominal pain with other gastrointestinal symptoms obtained an 59%; the one group of asymptomatic 41 %; influence eating habits over 50%, in relation to the presence ofthe bacterium, so that basically the stand Educational Talks fostering a culture to eat better.
