The purpose of the article is to analyze the use of technological instruments in microenterprises in Guayas. It was found that they have a limited use of technological instruments, which was reflected in gaps in Internet access, broadband connection and use of this tool by employees, as well as in the low proportion of microenterprises that have website, the limited reference and use of emerging digital technologies, as well as the low proportion of microenterprises that invest in technology. As obstacles that hinder the technological development of these economic units, it was identified the difficult access to financing, the lack of reference on the tools, technological solutions and their applications, the lack of knowledge about the use of such technologies, as well as the lack of support. governmental.
