This research analyzes the communication barriers faced by students with visual and hearing disabilities in the Communication Career of the Faculty of Social Communication Sciences (FACSO), of the University of Guayaquil (UG), in the teaching-learning processes with teachers and regular students. The advantages and disadvantages of inclusive language, which is also known as communication accessibility, and linguistic systems to enable the participation of people with different abilities, are disclosed. This study is part of a Competitive Research Fund (FCI), and was carried out based on qualitative methodology, obtaining information from various sources students and teachers-. The existing problems were identified that allowed us to know the communication barriers of language, detailing how these occur, seeking to give people with visual and hearing disabilities the creation and use of pedagogical tools to reduce communication barriers in the training processes within FACSO.
