CONEXIONES UG Journal guarantees the long-term conservation of all published articles through a digital preservation system that ensures the integrity and accessibility of its content in the face of technological changes. To achieve this, the following strategies are employed:

• LOCKSS System: This journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries. This mechanism allows the creation of permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes in the event of technical failures.

• Internal Storage: The journal maintains a backup protocol on external physical storage devices that are updated semi-annually to ensure data redundancy.

• Self-Archiving Policy: Authors are allowed and encouraged to archive the final published version (post-print) of their work on personal websites, blogs, institutional repositories, or any other electronic medium, contributing to the decentralized preservation of information.
