Copyright Policies
The authors retain copyright and grant the Scripta Mundi Journal the right of first publication, as well as the right to edit, reproduce, distribute, display, and communicate the work in Ecuador and abroad through print and electronic media. Furthermore, the authors assume responsibility for any litigation or claims related to intellectual property rights, releasing the Faculty of Communication and the Scripta Mundi Journal from any liability. It is also established that the authors may eventually enter into other independent and additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of the article published in this journal (e.g., including it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided they clearly indicate that the work was first published in this journal.
