Anti-Plagiarism Policies

During the editorial process, all manuscripts submitted to the  Scripta Mundi Journal  will be checked with the Turnitin plagiarism detection tool.

The review process involves a textual comparison of the document and its database (which includes international databases) to generate a similarity report. Each case will be evaluated individually, with particular emphasis placed on cases exceeding 10% similarity. Authors will be notified of the report's findings to discuss the possibility of making corrections (in cases of missing citations) or the rejection of the manuscript if intentional plagiarism is detected.
