Ecuador wants to buy back debt and its creditors want to sue it

Currently, Ecuador is threatened with an international lawsuit by a sector of its external lenders, the holders of the 2012 and 2030 bonds.Our country, represented in the financial market by Lazard Frères Banque (from France), invited the holders of Ecuadorian Global bonds, but the dissatisfied guarantors with the proposal are organizing (gathering 25% of the owed capital) to demand the total amount owed.
