Ingeniería Química y Desarrollo, is edited by the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador, since 2015.
We are an international scientific, bilingual, multidisciplinary and open access journal that publishes peer-reviewed scientific articles.
Our purpose is to disseminate original, useful and relevant research that provides new knowledge on theoretical or practical aspects of methods and techniques used in science, or that lead to improvements in professional practice. All conclusions presented in the articles should be based on the current state of knowledge and supported by rigorous, systematic analysis and balanced evaluation.
We publish articles in the following areas: Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Environment, Materials and Minerals, Process and Energy, Biotechnology, Organizational Engineering, Productivity/Production, New Product Development, Computer and Decision Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Management Systems - ISO Standards, Food Engineering, Gastronomy, Others related to Engineering.
Ingeniería Química y Desarrollo is published biannually; the first issue on January 1, the second issue on July 1; and there is no charge for admission, processing or publication of articles.
