Emerging pedagogies arise as a product of recent advances in educational technology, aiming to overcome the limitations of traditional teaching methods. This context evidences an abundant scientific production that justifies the need for this bibliographic study on the field of emerging pedagogies, given their fundamental role in the current academic information landscape. The objective was to present an analysis of the bibliometric indicators of the scientific output on emerging pedagogies in virtual learning environments. Bibliometric analysis methods were employed, such as the documentary method with a quantitative approach, focusing on a group of bibliometric indicators using the Bibliometrix statistical package of the RStudio Software. The selected database was Dimensions, used as an Open Access information access tool, along with the VOSviewer Software integrated into the Dimensions platform. It is concluded that there is an upward trend starting from 2012, showing the number of publications with greater emphasis on high-impact journals indexed in the Web of Science. The authors and institutions with the highest scientific production on the topic are located in the United Kingdom and the United States, and the type of co authorship collaboration between authors is limited.
