La gestión del conocimiento en la industria de la construcción

Resumen

Debido a la naturaleza centrada en la información del sector de la arquitectura y la construcción, se ha implementado la gestión del conocimiento. Sin embargo, existen varios obstáculos para implementar la gestión del conocimiento (GC) en la industria de la construcción debido a la prevalencia de métodos obsoletos. Por lo tanto, se deben desarrollar métodos para abordar la ineficiencia, impulsar la GC y combinar los avances tecnológicos con el pensamiento creativo. Dichos métodos son fundamentales para mejorar la eficiencia de la GC y sentar las bases para el éxito futuro. Con el uso de tecnología de vanguardia y pensamiento creativo, esta investigación analizó los modelos y procedimientos más efectivos para la gestión del conocimiento en los sectores de la construcción y la edificación. El estudio empleó un diseño de investigación descriptivo y una técnica cualitativa. Se utilizó el análisis de contenido para descifrar las respuestas a los cuestionarios abiertos. Los hallazgos exigen la implementación de enfoques tanto orgánicos como mecanizados, así como sistemas de software, gestión de información de construcción (BIM), digitalización y blockchain. Debido a la naturaleza cambiante de la gestión del conocimiento, es esencial que las empresas que operan en esta industria fortalezcan continuamente sus recursos internos y adapten su enfoque.

José Rolando Torrech Jr., Universidad de Guayaquil

José Torrech obtuvo su Doctorado en Administración de Empresas en Florida Tech, su Maestría en Administración de Empresas en City University of New York y su Licenciatura en Ciencias en Negocios Internacionales en Quinnipiac University. Tiene más de 17 años de experiencia en consultoría de negocios y brinda consultoría pro bono a pequeños agricultores en Ecuador. Sus intereses de investigación son los emprendedores y la innovación en los países en desarrollo.
