The Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Recreation of the University of Guayaquil, in coordination with the journal Sport Science, Training and Research – International Scientific Journal, promotes the organization and dissemination of scientific and academic events aimed at exchanging knowledge in the field of sport sciences, physical activity, and sports training. These academic spaces seek to encourage the dissemination of research, the analysis of professional experiences, and scientific debate among researchers, professors, coaches, sports professionals, and students.

In this context, the scientific events promoted by the faculty and the journal are focused on the presentation of original research papers, literature reviews, case studies, and research experiences related to various thematic areas such as: scientific disciplines applied to sport sciences; long-term athlete development processes; management, control, and evaluation of sports training; management, administration, and technological innovation in the sports field; social, recreational, and spectacle sport; and adapted and Paralympic sport, thereby contributing to the strengthening of scientific production and the development of knowledge in the field of sport sciences.
