Resulta contradictorio con la literatura que el
rasgo de neuroticismo, caracterizado por la
tendencia a experimentar emociones negativas
como ansiedad e inestabilidad emocional, sea el
más influyente en este caso, dado su potencial
efecto perjudicial sobre el talento deportivo.
Asimismo, se identificó que el rasgo de
personalidad más predominante en esta
población fue la apertura a la experiencia, lo que
indica una mayor disposición a experimentar,
curiosidad intelectual, imaginación y aprecio por
la creatividad, características que pueden
contribuir positivamente al desempeño y
desarrollo deportivo.
