Abstract

Environmental pollution is a phenomenon that affects the quality of life of living beings and ecosystems on planet Earth; currently, the Vicente Paul sector of the city of Guayaquil presents various problems of environmental pollution,  mainly because of informal trade, lack of green areas and poor waste management; in turn,  These problems are triggered by the absence of equipment necessary to meet the needs of users. The objective of this study is to design an environmental mitigation plan to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the sector. A quantitative methodology was used to calculate the percentage of existing green areas in the study area through the use of the ArcGIS program. In addition, a visit to the sector was made to identify the causes of pollution to develop later a comparative analysis based on the 12 Criteria that Determine a Good Public Space.

Diana Fernanda Zárate Zavala, Consaporf S.A.

Zarate, Diana was born in Palocabildo, Colombia, student of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of Guayaquil, currently in the eighth semester. He has taken several courses that certify his knowledge applied to the Architecture career, in post-production programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. His fields of interest and possible future lines of research consist of the approach to new forms of Sustainable Architecture in the field of social interest housing in Latin America.

 

Katherine Yamile Almache Carranza, Consaporf S.A.

Born in El Carmen- Manabí, Ecuador, he is an eighth semester architecture student at the University of Guayaquil. He has formed his thinking through the reflections and knowledge of many people linked to the field of architecture, also acquiring knowledge through courses in the architecture program. He hopes to continue growing professionally in the future and apply his knowledge.

Karla Cristina Fajardo Zavala, Consaporf S.A.

Born in El Carmen- Manabí, Ecuador, he is an eighth semester architecture student at the University of Guayaquil. He has formed his thoughts through the reflections and knowledge of many people linked to the field of architecture, also acquiring knowledge through courses in the architecture degree. He hopes to continue growing professionally in the future and apply his knowledge.

David Gabriel Jiménez Alvarado, Consaporf S.A.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, he is currently in the eighth semester of the Architecture and Urbanism degree at the University of Guayaquil. He has taken different courses that support his training in the field of architectural design and the use of BIM technology, in addition to participating in residential construction projects. He wishes to increase his knowledge in Territorial Planning and thus be able to apply his knowledge in favor of the urban development of his city.

Denisse Adriana Morocho Zambrano, Consaporf S.A.

Born in the city of San Miguel, Ecuador, he is an eighth semester student of Architecture at the University of Guayaquil. During his time studying, he has acquired knowledge in various areas of the career such as architectural design and, along with this, the management of programs such as Revit, Illustrator and Photoshop. In the future, he wishes to acquire knowledge in areas such as Sustainable Architecture and thus develop projects that include this aspect within the city.
