To propose possible solutions to the mobility problem, the research carried out aimed to analyze alternatives that allow for improving the level of service. The method of data collection consisted of observation, with digital work in ArcGIS to know the intersections of entry and exit of a stretch of 4 km in length. Counts and categorization were carried out, as well as counting of traffic light distribution times to verify possible causes of congestion. The intersections will be characterized by their geometry, traffic flows, and traffic light system. In conclusion, it is obtained that the ArcGIS tool configures a territorial approach that can determine the monitoring of the points of vehicular congestion in the study section and as a future line of research it is proposed to establish a total sampling of trunk 3 and the rest of the trunks of the Metrovía to locate actions that reduce the level of congestion and are transferred.</p> ER -
