Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Artículos de carácter científico: trabajos de investigaciones básicas y/o aplicadas
Scientific in nature: basic and/or applied research papers. It will consist of an introduction, which will be brief and will contain the purpose of the work: an overview of the topic or problem addressed,the state of the art or literature review, the knowledge gap, objectives,and justification. Materials and methods: the materials used in the study, their characteristics, selection criteria, and techniques employed,tools, procedures, and limitations of the methodology will be presented,providing the necessary data—bibliographic or direct—so that thereported experience can be replicated by the reader (it explains what, how, with what, and why the strategy used to answer the research question or achieve the objectives was employed). Results: the observations made using the materials and methods employed are reported, not interpreted. These data may be presented in detail in the text or in the form of tables and figures, graphs, diagrams, maps, etc.,provided their use is properly justified. Discussion: the authors will present their opinions based on these results, possible interpretationsthereof, comparison with results obtained by other authors in similarpublications, suggestions for future work on the topic, etc. Conclusions.Acknowledgments. Bibliographic references.
Revisiones teóricas sistemáticas y/o metaanálisis
Theoretical reviews. The text will be divided into all the sections that the authors deem necessary for a perfect understanding of the topic at hand. For reference, theymay include the following sections: introduction(background, current state of the topic), methodologyemployed, results, discussion, conclusions, practical applications, future lines of research, acknowledgments,references, and tables/figures.
